CAD [Cynllunio drwy Gymorth Cyfrifiadur] - 2D

CAD [Computer Aided Design] - 2D

Drwy ddefnyddio meddalwedd CAD 2-ddimensiwn, gall dylunwyr greu lluniadau cywir wrth raddfa o rannau a chydosodiadau dyluniadau. Gellir ei ddefnyddio hefyd i ddatblygu a chadarnhau syniadau dylunio drwy ganolbwyntio ar safbwyntiau unigol a defnyddio’r ystod o offer geometrig sydd ar gael.

Gellir defnyddio lluniadau orthograffig i gyfeirio atynt wrth gynhyrchu a chydosod cydrannau.

Hefyd, gellir eu trosi’n llwybrau torri ar gyfer peiriannu 2-ddimensiwn siapiau amlinell, pocedi a rhigolau ar beiriannau CNC. Heddiw, cynhyrchir y rhan fwyaf o luniadau peiriannu’n awtomatig o fodelau CAD 3D – ac yna ychwanegir dimensiynau cynhyrchu a manylion eraill at y lluniad.

Prosesau

Manteision

  • Cywirach na lluniadau orthograffig traddodiadol a wneir â llaw.
  • Cyflymach i'w cynhyrchu ac yn golygu llai o waith.
  • Gelli'r storio, argraffu a rhannu nifer o gopiau'n electronig.
  • Mae'n hawdd eu golygu ac nid yw addasiadau dylunio'n golygu gorfod ail-lunio'r dyluniad gwreiddiol yn ddiddiwedd.
  • Nid oes problem gyda storio lluniadau papur mawr.
  • Gellir newid graddfa lluniadau'n awtomatig yn ôl yr angen
  • Gellir eu defnyddio'n uniongyrchol i gynhyrchu data torri ar gyfer peiriannau CNC.

Anfanteision

  • Collir sgiliau drafftio traddodiadol gan na fydd eu hangen.
  • Anoddach eu cynhyrchu na modelau CAD 3D gyda gofyn mwy o wybodaeth am safonau technegol a sgiliau delweddu.
  • Ni ellir rhith brofi dyluniadau yn yr un modd â modelau 3D ond gall cenedlaethau newydd meddalwedd fodelu drosi o 2D i 3D.

Using 2-dimensional CAD software, designers can create accurate, scaled drawings of parts and assemblies for designs. It can also be used to develop and firm up design ideas by concentrating on single views and using the range of geometric tools available.

Orthographic drawings can be used for reference during manufacturing and assembling components.
They can also be converted into cutting paths for 2-dimensional machining of outline shapes, pockets and grooves on CNC machines.

These days most engineering drawings are generated automatically from 3D CAD models- dimensions for manufacture and other details are then added to the drawing.

Processes:

Advantages:

  • More accurate than traditional hand drawn orthographic drawings.
  • Faster to produce and less labour intensive.
  • Multiple copies can be stored, printed and shared electronically.
  • Can be easily edited and design modifications do not generate endless redrawings of the original design.
  • Storage of large paper drawings is no longer an issue.
  • Drawings can be automatically scaled and re-scaled as necessary.
  • Can be used direcly to generate cutting data for CNC machines.

Disadvantages:

  • Traditional drafting skills will be lost as the become unnecessary.
  • More difficult to produce than 3D CAD models and require more knowlage of technical standards and visualistaion skills.
  • Cannot test designs virtually as with 3D models but new generations of modelling software can convert 2D to 3D.
